There are many good web series on these digital platforms which are a very good source of entertainment but only few of them are having a very good story line, cast and direction.

So I have picked top 10 Web Series from all digital platforms which you can watch in your free time to get ride of your boredome.

1.Asur

Asur is available on Voot.The series stars Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti. The series is set in current times and revolves around serial killings. Arshad Warsi made his web debut in this series.

Plot:-

Set in the backdrop of the mystical city of Varanasi, Asur follows Nikhil Nair, a forensic-expert-turned-teacher, who returns to his roots at the Central Bureau of Investigation, and along with his former mentor Dhananjay Rajpoot, finds himself caught in a cat-and-mouse game with a brutal serial killer. What follows is a blend of suspense, mythology and the murders of some people totally unrelated.

2.Special ops

Special Ops is an Indian thriller series created by Neeraj Pandey for Disney+Hotstar's label Hotstar Specials with Kay Kay Menon leading the cast. Neeraj Pandey along with Shivam Nair directed the series with Pandey's.

Plot:-

The series follows Himmat Singh (Menon) of Research and Analysis Wing who draws similar patterns in terrorist attacks and is convinced a single person is behind all the attacks. His task force team of five agents living in various parts of the world aim to catch the mastermind. Overall the story is based on the inspiration taken from Nineteen Years of national significant events.

3.The family man

The family man is created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. Starring Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani.It is available on Amazon Prime.

Plot:-

It is the story of a middle-class man secretly working as an intelligence officer for the T.A.S.C, a fictitious branch of the National Investigation Agency.
Srikant Tiwari is a middle-class man who also serves as a world-class spy. Srikant tries to balance his familial responsibilities with the demands of the highly secretive special cell of the National Intelligency Agency that he is working for.

4.Patal lok

Paatal Lok is an Indian Hindi-language crime thriller web television series which premiered on Amazon Prime Video.It is produced by Clean Slate Films, and stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee, Ishwak Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee.

Plot:-

The series is about a disillusioned cop (Jaideep Ahlawat)who lands the case of an assassination attempt gone wrong.Cop is tasked with investigating a high-profile case which leads him into a dark realm of the underworld.

5.Bhaukaal

Bhaukaal is thriller, action, crime series.Stars: Mohit Raina, Abhimanyu Singh, Siddhanth Kapoor.

Bhaukaal, is the story of SSP Naveen Sikhera, who cleanses the city of Muzaffarnagar infested with criminals. The city is in a state of chaos and utter lawlessness. 6.Mirzapur

Mirzapur is an Indian crime thriller web television series on Amazon Prime Video produced by Excel Entertainment.Its first season consists of 9 episodes in total.

Plot:-

Sacred Games is an Indian web television thriller Emmy nominated series based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 novel of the same name. The first Netflix original series in India, it is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap who produced it under their banner Phantom Films.Stars:Saif Ali Khan,Nawazuddin Siddiqui,Radhika Apte,Pankaj Tripathi,Kalki Koechlin.

Plot:-

He tells Singh to save the city in 25 days, which initiates a chain of events that burrows deep into India's dark underworld. In the journey, Singh is helped by Research and Analysis Wing officer Anjali Mathur while flashbacks detail Gaitonde's origins and how he rose to power as crime lord of Mumbai. The first season follows Singh trying to uncover clues about Gaitonde's past while also learning of a connection between Gaitonde and his father.

8.Criminal Justice

Criminal Justice is an Indian series based on Criminal Justice by Peter Moffat, adapted for India by Shridhar Raghavan streaming on Hotstar. It is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Vishal Furia starring Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Jackie Shroff, Anupriya Goenka and Mita Vashisht in lead roles.

Plot:-

The series revolves around Vikrant's character Aditya who was charged for murder. One night in Mumbai, a girl hired his taxi and ended up having a one night stand under the influence of drugs. When he woke up the girl was dead with a stab in her back and knife in Aditya's hand. This resulted him accused for murder and rejection of bail. The remaining plot is how he goes through the criminal justice system and prove his innocence.

9.Panchayat

Panchayat is an Indian comedy-drama web television series on Amazon Prime Video produced by TVF.Stars:Jitendra Kumar,Raghubir Yadav,Neena Gupta,Biswapati Sarkar.

Plot:-

The journey of an engineering graduate Abhishek Tripathi, who for lack of a better job option joins as secretary of a panchayat office in the remote village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] Stuck between crazy villagers and a difficult village lifestyle Abhishek starts his job with the sole motivation of getting out of there as soon as possible, for which he even prepares for the Common Admission Test.

The web series is expected to be an intense thriller with a talented cast. Illegal will mark the digital debut of Bollywood and theatre stalwart, Piyush Mishra. Sahir Raza directed this legal drama series. The series is written by Reshu Nath, with Vikram Bhatt as its creative producer.Stars: Neha Sharma, Akshay Oberoi, Piyush Mishra.

The show follows the life of 16-year-old Vaibhav who moves to Kota from Itarsi. It shows the life of students in the city, and Vaibhav's efforts to get into IIT.
